Red and Black Granny Square Beanie
After my mom sent me a picture of a random guy in ATL wearing a hat similar to this, I took it up on myself to make it. My mom's text went a little like this:
"A hat like this in red and black would be 🔥🔥🔥!".
Because our town's colors are red and black, I obliged without any hesitation.
Usually when I "oblige" my impulses "with out any hesitations", they usually end up not being finished or in a fit of rage they get unraveled and repurposed. Unlike other projects, I persevered.
After watching a little bit of a tutorial video, I went ahead and started making 5 standard granny squares with:
Not 1 Row...
Not 2 Rows...
Not 3 rows...
But 4 Beautiful rows!
For the top of the hat, I needed a granny pentagon, which was very simple.
After weaving all of the ends, I put the squares together with a Back Loop Only Sc Join. Simple and effective.
